This is getting ridiculous.......
For those of my colleagues who were wondering why I was logged on and working from home today, the above photo should give a clue! There was another 9cm of snow overnight, and it snowed lightly on and off all day. Some of the mounds where I’m piling up the shovelled snow are now nearly as tall as I am.
Yes, I know I’ve “missed a bit”! My arms were like jelly by the time I’d got this far, and I had to take a breather.

Thanks Catharine. Fortunately, a twice-daily trip up a ladder with a watering can of hot water helped keep the outflow from my boiler free of ice. So at least I had central heating and hot water!
apologies for writing to this comment as I have just seen the 2012 article on Syndol whilst looking wherei could get it from as it has been out of action again and I was so excited to see someone else’s comments.
I have been using Syndol for years when I get headaches or migraine as it is the only thing that works as I have been having migraines since being at school. Believe me, even the Boots Tension tablets which are supposed to contain the same ingredients don’t work as well as Syndol and during the takeover of the company – which non of the pharmacists seem to have an answer for, tried everything. I couldn’t believe it when I went to get Syndol last week and was told that it was in available again!! What are they playing at. It is bad enough when I get questioned every time I go to buy some ( I am not addicted just get a lot of migraines). How I wish the manufacturers would stop playing about and the NHS would put it on prescription, my GP knows i take it, and i wouldn’t have to answer loads of questions when I want to buy any. Sorry just needed to sound off to somebody. Thanks for listening!
